Matt Lombardino and the team at Break Away have built an incredibly beloved business over the last 25 years in Madison by focusing on playing, teaching, and respecting soccer. As part of continuing this legacy, we’re excited to announce that Break Away Sports Center and TOCA Football have joined forces, and we are now TOCA Soccer Center - Madison!
TOCA Madison will extend this tradition by continuing to be a hub for recreational indoor league play. Most immediately, winter leagues and field group rentals will continue as planned. The familiar Break Away team members will not change and Matt has graciously agreed to stay on to assist in a smooth transition with TOCA.
TOCA Football (TOCA) is the world’s leading technology-enabled soccer training and experience company. TOCA currently operates 15 state-of-the-art soccer centers across the U.S. and Canada featuring TOCA’s proprietary soccer training technologies which are used by some of the best professional teams and players around the world. TOCA believes the Madison area is the perfect fit for this training experience.
TOCA’s Board is led by Erik Anderson, former Chairman of Topgolf; Soccer Hall of Famer Abby Wambach; TOCA Founder and U.S. Men's National Team player Eddie Lewis; and former NFL marketing executive Julie Haddon. TOCA is elevating sports and taking soccer training to new heights.
Later in the year we will introduce TOCA Strikers, our soccer classes for kids ages 18 months - 7 years, to Madison. TOCA Strikers introduces children to the game of soccer through age-appropriate, fun classes that challenge and encourage players to learn and work together. Our 50-minute classes, designed by experts in soccer and child development, are engaging, high-energy, and teach the skills and fundamentals necessary to build confidence playing soccer.
TOCA Training, our first of its kind, next-generation soccer training, will also launch at TOCA Madison later this year. Primarily geared towards athletes 8-18 years old, our technology-enabled training sessions, led by world-class coaches, drive rapid improvements and results that cannot be matched anywhere else. Leveraging our patented technology, our technique features high repetition and game-like simulations, resulting in well-rounded players.
